cross training

rode the bike for 1/2 hour and worked up a good sweat. Hopefully I was using a high enough level (6) to build cardio.
I did leg weights today. Trying to strengthen my legs and stabilize the muscles around my knee. I also am working on strengthening the front calf muscles. I did squats on the slide machine (I don't really know what this machine is called, but you lay down on your back to do this) and then leg press. I kept the weight low and reps high. Then I did hamstring curls and then leg extensions one leg at a time. This really works the muscles supporting the knees. I finished with calf raises and 15 minutes of stretching.
