Yoga
I was so afraid when I went to bed last night that I wouldn't be able to walk to day. My knees hurt so bad. I iced them and took Advil before going to bed and it seemed to work. Other than being a little tired I felt great this morning.
I got up in time to go to yoga and I am so glad I did. We worked a lot of upper and lower back and as usual spent a lot of time working in our shoulders. The upper body work is a great supplement to the running. Many of the positions we did worked out all the stiffness in my legs and stretched out my hamstrings and calves. Some of the squat work really strengthens the quads too. I am finding that this is a nice cross train routine.
By the end of the day I was sore in new places from the yoga and not from the running.
