woke up early this morning and stretched to find a very stiff and slightly sore body. Since I woke up in time I went to Yoga and will use this as my cross training and stretching session for the day.
Yoga was terrific, I worked out all the kinks and stiffness of the run yesterday. Marti - who teaches the class- is very inspiring and really nurtures you into believing you can do it.
I realized that all the months I have skipped Yoga have taken their toll but I also realized that coupled with the running it balances my whole workout set. We worked our shoulders, back, legs and feet thoroughly.
This is great. (will I say that when I have to run 18 miles?)
